1. The service
"manyCalendars" (the "Service") is a browser extension and accompanying marketing website that lets you view multiple calendars in a unified interface, optionally read events from already-open browser tabs, and create blocking events across multiple calendars. The Service is operated by manyCalendars LLC ("we", "us", "our").
2. License grant to you
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service on devices you own or control.
The Free tier license is perpetual unless you violate these terms. Paid licenses (Pro, Premium, or Team, billed monthly or annually) follow the duration you purchased.
3. Restrictions (protect our work, please)
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension's code (other than for accessibility purposes permitted by your local law, or to the extent permitted by the open-source components we use).
- Redistribute the Service on any web store, app store, marketplace, or website without our written permission.
- Re-brand, white-label, or pass off the Service as your own product.
- Use the Service or any of its identifying marks (the "manyCalendars" name, the calendar+clock logo, the "manyCalendars" wordmark, the "many" animated brand mark) in connection with a competing or substantially similar product.
- Bypass the license-check mechanism or use Pro features without an active paid subscription.
- Use automated systems (bots, crawlers, scrapers) against our website or license server.
- Sell, lease, rent, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your license to anyone.
- Use the Service for illegal activity or to violate someone else's rights.
The browser-tab reading feature reads only content you have already loaded into your own browser. It does not bypass authentication or access systems you don't already have access to. Your use of the Service to view your own calendars is your responsibility - you are obligated to comply with your employer's, client's, or service provider's terms of service for those calendars. We provide a general-purpose tool; how you use it is on you.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including all code, design, branding, marketing copy, the calendar-with-clock logo, the "manyCalendars" wordmark, the animated "many" brand mark, and all related materials, is owned by manyCalendars LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"manyCalendars" and the calendar-with-clock logo are trademarks of manyCalendars LLC. Trademark applications are filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. You may not use these marks without our written permission.
Open-source components are licensed under their respective licenses (FullCalendar - MIT; ical.js - Mozilla Public License 2.0). Attribution and license texts are included in the extension package.
5. Your content
"Your Content" means anything you put into the extension: calendar URLs, manual events, synced event data, settings. Your Content stays on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or claim any rights over Your Content.
When end-to-end encrypted sync ships (Q3 2026), Your Content will be encrypted on your device before any transmission to our servers. We will store opaque ciphertext that we cannot read.
6. Payments and refunds
Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel. Cancel from your account dashboard or by emailing billing@manycalendars.com.
30-day money-back guarantee: If you're not satisfied within 30 days of payment, email billing@manycalendars.com and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds beyond 30 days are at our discretion.
If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you 14 days to update your payment method. After that, the account drops to the Free tier (your data stays in your browser).
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others
- Use the Service to violate a third party's terms of service in a way that creates legal liability for us
- Interfere with the Service's security or operation
- Use the Service from a sanctioned country or in violation of export laws
We reserve the right to terminate accounts found in violation of these acceptable-use rules without refund.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every third-party calendar service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business, or data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent allowed.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service that violate these terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms, with notice when reasonable. Subscribers terminated for cause are not entitled to refunds.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where prohibited by law.
Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing legal@manycalendars.com with a description of the dispute.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email to your account address. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the new terms, cancel before they take effect.
