Export everything as an .ics file (Pro)

What the export does

The Export .ics button takes every event currently visible in your unified view and saves it as a single .ics file. That is the standard iCalendar format, so the file opens in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and anything else that reads calendar files.

The file is built entirely in your browser and saved straight to your downloads folder. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Your merged calendar stays as private as it always was.

This is useful when you want a portable copy of your combined schedule: a backup before a busy quarter, a snapshot to hand to an assistant, or a way to get your merged view into a phone calendar app.

Before you start

The .ics export is a Pro feature. If you are on the free plan, the button is visible but locked. You can upgrade to Pro on the checkout page.

The export covers what you can see. Calendars you have hidden in the sidebar are left out of the file, which gives you precise control over what gets exported.

Step by step

  1. Open the manyCalendars tab and make sure your calendars have loaded. Each source should show its events in the unified view.
  2. Use the sidebar toggles to choose which calendars to include. Anything hidden stays out of the export.
  3. Click Export .ics in the toolbar.
  4. Your browser downloads the file like any other download. No dialogs, no account, no admin rights.
  5. Open your downloads folder and confirm the .ics file is there.
Tip: Want a separate file per client? Hide every other calendar in the sidebar, export, then repeat for the next client. Each export only contains what was visible when you clicked the button.

Import the file into another calendar app

Apple Calendar: double-click the file, or use File, then Import, and pick which calendar receives the events.

Google Calendar: open Settings, choose Import & export, click Import, select the file, and pick a destination calendar.

Outlook: on outlook.com or new Outlook, go to Add calendar, then Upload from file. In classic desktop Outlook, use File, Open & Export, then Import/Export.

Good to know

The export is a snapshot, not a live feed. If your schedule changes, export again to get a fresh file. The old file keeps whatever it had when you created it.

Events keep their titles, times, and details exactly as they appear in your unified view. If something looks wrong after import, check the destination app's timezone settings first, since that is the most common cause of shifted times.
