How to print your manyCalendars calendar
manyCalendars runs in your browser, which means you can use your browser's built-in print function to create a clean printable version of your unified calendar. Here is the process:
1. Set your view. Switch to week view in manyCalendars for the week you want to print. Make sure all the calendars you want included are toggled on in the sidebar.
2. Collapse the sidebar. Click the sidebar toggle to hide the calendar list. This gives the calendar grid more horizontal space and produces a cleaner print layout.
3. Switch to light theme. If you use dark mode, switch to light theme before printing. Dark backgrounds consume a lot of ink and make event text harder to read on paper. You can switch back after printing.
4. Print. Use Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac) to open your browser's print dialog. Set orientation to landscape for week views. Check the preview and adjust scale if events are getting cut off. Print to paper or save as PDF.
Tips for best results
Set your browser's print margins to "Minimum" or "None" to maximize the calendar area on the page. Turn off headers and footers in the print settings to remove the URL and page number from the output. If your week is very packed, try reducing the print scale to 80% or 90% so all events fit without overflow.
For a PDF version, select "Save as PDF" as your printer destination. This gives you a file you can email, archive, or open on your phone as a quick reference.
When a printed calendar is useful
Desk reference. Pin this week's calendar next to your monitor. Glancing at paper is faster than switching to a browser tab, especially during calls when you need to quickly check what is next.
Shared office spaces. If you share a home office with a partner or co-worker, a printed calendar on the wall lets everyone see the day's schedule without asking. Especially useful for coordinating quiet hours and call times.
Analog backup. Browser crashes, power outages, or that moment when you are on a call and cannot alt-tab. A printed calendar is immune to all of these.
