Quick Tip: Spotting the Meeting Provider Icon on Events
Posted: September 6, 2026 · 1 min read
The video camera icon
Look at your events in manyCalendars's calendar grid. Some have a small video camera icon. That icon means manyCalendars detected a meeting link in the event, whether it is Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or Webex.
Events without the icon are either in-person meetings, focus blocks, or events where no meeting link was included in the invite.
Hover and click
Hover over the icon to see which provider was detected. The tooltip will say "Zoom," "Microsoft Teams," "Google Meet," or "Webex." This is useful when you have back-to-back meetings on different platforms and need to know which app you are about to open.
Click the icon to join the meeting directly. manyCalendars opens the join link in a new tab, which triggers the desktop app if you have one installed. No more opening the event, scrolling through the description, and hunting for the link.
That is it. Icon means join link. Hover for the provider. Click to join. One less thing to think about at 9:59 AM. Install manyCalendars and start clicking instead of searching.
